This Christmas, Hue and Cry will perform two special shows during the one weekend in their home town of Glasgow at the renowned ABC venue on Sauchiehall Street. Friday, 18th December will see Pat and Greg Kane perform an up close and personal piano & vocal performance in the intimate surroundings of the venue's ABC2 room. Saturday, 19th December will see the brothers line up as part of the full seven piece band for a spectacular event in the venue's main ABC hall.

HUE AND CRY HEADLINE THE VOGRIE FESTIVAL

We are pleased to announce that Hue and Cry will headline the Vogrie Festival which takes place in Vogrie Country Park, Midlothian on Sunday 9 August 2009. The line-up includes a number of rock, pipe, and silver bands as well as the traditional music and dance. Taking place between 11am and 6pm, the festival is one for all the family with live entertainment plus a fun fair, arts and crafts activities, displays, stalls and miniature railway. Tickets for the event are priced: Adults, £5; Children aged three to 13 years, £3; infants up to three years can enter for free and OAPs will be charged £2. Tickets are not available in advance but can be purchased at the festival on the day.

Hue and Cry have been announced as a headline act at this year’s Burns An’ A’ That Festival, playing at the Festival Club in Wellington Square, Ayr on Friday 22 May 2009. After the exclusive Hue and Cry Music Club pre-sale, tickets are now available at Ayr Tourist Information Centre, Ayr Citadel and online at Ticketmaster.  


HUE AND CRY AT THE BURNS AN' A' THAT FESTIVAL

We are pleased to announce that Hue and Cry have been announced as a headline act for the upcoming Burns An’ A’ That Festival. Taking place from 16th to 24th May, the festival celebrates the life and works of Robert Burns with contemporary Scottish culture in his home town of Ayrshire. Hue and Cry will play at the Festival Club in Wellington Square, Ayr on Friday 22nd May. Tickets for the gig officially go on sale from Monday 30th March but Hue and Cry fans have exclusive early access to tickets from Thursday 26th March. ONLINE WEBCHAT & FREE 'FIREBALL' DOWNLOAD!

Hue and Cry will be giving away their next single 'Fireball' as a free download to fans. The third single to be taken from their Open Soul album will be released on Monday 16th February. There will be three versions to download including an album track, live version and acoustic, piano/vocal version!

To celebrate this and the launch of the Open Soul...Open Road tour, Pat and Greg will be giving a live webchat to fans at the Hue and Cry Music Club on Monday 16th February from 7.30pm. This is your chance to speak to the guys direct and help them put together their setlist for the tour so make sure you log on, get involved and let them know what songs you want to hear.

The London-based duo were well received when they played with Hue and Cry back in September 2008 and since then have released their debut album 'Rising Up', garnering support from national press and radio along the way.

COUNTDOWN TO OPEN SOUL...OPEN ROAD TOUR

We're extremely excited about getting back on the road in our second UK tour around the new album, Open Soul.  As before, we'll be setting up our digicams and recording every minute of the gigs - you'll see clips of those on the Hue And Cry Music Club throughout the rest of the year. And make sure you come to the History City section of the Music Club, and visit the 'Open Soul... Open Road' gig pages there (the gigs are highlighted on the front page of the Music Club too, just scroll down). We are pleased to announce that EMI will be releasing an album of Hue and Cry hits, rare mixes, extended versions, B sides and album tracks from their Virgin Records period 1987-1991.  Many of the tracks have been digitally remastered for ‘The Collection’ which will be released on 9th February 2009.
